- Period between current and previous publications of Larson's Calculus: 4 years (2013 vs 2009).
- Generally, the Tenth edition hasn't changed much from the Ninth edition.
- In Tenth Edition each Chapter Opener highlights five real-life applications of calculus found throughout the chapter. The applications reference the examples or exercises featured.
